* What is areapal ?

areapal is a service that was created mainly with the objective to give students a totally new way of networking . As the name indicates , the service allows users to connect based on their area . It gives a more drilled down vision for the users to find people in their area ( neighborhood ) first and then look for more people outside . It often happens that the most interesting person we are searching happens be a street away or a class away or just a department away and we are searching for him all over the world !! - So this basic thought made us to build this service . Well that's the reason we don't call this just "Social networking" ..... we call it "Beyond networking"


* Who are behind this ?

We are a group of friends & students from Anna University . We also have a lot of enthusiastic boys and girls helping us maintain this service from various colleges .
