* What is areapal ?

   areapal.com is a platform to discover interesting things happening near and around you !

* Why did this happen ?

   The idea was simply triggered by a couple of friends thinking -  how would it be if we   came to know about interesting things happening around us right now?

   It may range from anything like :

   - Breaking news of the movie released recently .
   - The bad experience you had in the hotel nearby
   - The rumor going on in the college nearby
   - Film shooting going on in the next street .

* Why areas ?

    Why areas ?  well did have a lot of options like Pincode,IP,GPS etc.  but talking to a few hundred people we came to know that these options are either boring or people were uncomfortable pin pointing their exact location constantly . But the concept of area seemed to bring fun , as well as served the purpose . So we stuck on to areas :)

* Who takes care of all this ?

    Done by a wide pool of energetic students/youngsters , areapal is a community driven project . The entire philosophy is user driven .
