* My area dosent seem to appear - what can I do ? .
Pal we are really sorry for the inconvienience . We have tried our best to add all the areas possible ( might have missed out some ) . Nooo probs ... please just send a mail to " contact [ at ] areapal.com " , mentioning the areaname and where it is present . We will check it out and add it .
* When I try to invite a friend of mine - it says " Incorrect email " , but the ID is correct ..what to do ?
Pal , First please check if the email is valid ( ie ) it should end with " .com " and have an " @ " .
Second - please see if there are any blank spaces after the email ID , like "dude@gmail.com " and remove the blank space .
If you are inviting multiple people in one shot , please check if every ID is correctly comma seperated .
* Pal , there are BUGS .... what should I do ?
Yes - we are looking seriously into that , to make the service as BUG-FREE as possible . Please bear with us as we keep updating the service and fixing all problems that arise .
You can send any defects/bugs you notice on the way to " bugs [ at ] areapal.com " .
* Dude ..... often the site becomes very slow .... is there anything that can be done ?
Pal .... as mentioned we are just a hand full of youngsters / students running this service currently :-) - We have put most of our money we can into the server on which we are running areapal currently .
BUT ..... but ... we sure cant give you that as a reason !
We are trying our best to collect some funds from other people / ventures to upgrade our servers and give you a service soooooooo fast & reliable ... that soon there will be a question in this section that asks " Dude .... how on earth is this site sooo fast & reliable ? " :-)
* " hhhmmmmm ..... some features don't seem to work in IE as good as it works in Firefox - what's the reason ? "
Well that's a nice question to answer :-) - you see , we have been developing this application from starting using open source software/DB like php,Mysql etc. , so obviously we have been using Firefox to test the pages from starting . But we had looked through all pages to make sure the application also works on IE ( although we doubt that at some very rare spots ... there may be a difference ) . So if you notice such incompatible spots please help us by shooting a mail to " bugs [ at ] areapal.com " .... so that we can fix those .
* Sudenly the design in my page gets overlapped & jumbled up ...... what should be done ?
Once again we are sorry for the inconvienience pal ! Presently this problem can be solved by hitting Ctrl + F5 ( this process is called as the complete refresh ) . We are also working on this , to solve this . Please bear with us pal :-)
* Sometimes MP3 music and vedio dosent seem to play well in my Dash-board ( I use IE6 ) .....
Its actually due to the sites sight incompatible issues with IE6 . From the start we have been developing it for Firefox , so these hippups occur in IE6 . Not an issue we will solve it also ASAP :-)
