yup ... and the list keeps gooooing :-)    Well we have finally decided to open to as many colleges as possible in Chennai !!! .....    If you are a student of Chennai please feel free to register in this link for an invite

Its been a quick 1 month since we opened up areapal.com for Anna university ( MIT , CEG , SAP , ACTECH ) students - and we have seen a good usage by all the students :-) 

 

Well we have been getting requests to open it up for other colleges also - so that the space becomes more exciting and yes we also agreed with them and opened up areapal for students of SRM group of colleges today ( September 22nd )      :-)

 

Hey - and another update is , we are rigoroursly working on bringing in some cool / strict security & Privacy settings also inside areapal .....   will be updated in a couple of days - will keep you informed  :-)    .... till then please keep using areapal and give us back your feedback to even make it better & better & better .......

We have decided to launch areapal on August 22nd ( Friday ) . August 22nd is a very significant day in history for Madras ( Chennai ) . The founding day of Madras is considered to be August 22, 1639 .

" It was on that day, in that year, that a sliver of land, where Fort. St. George stands today, was transacted by the East India Company.The deal was struck by Francis Day, his 'dubash' Beri Thimmappa, and their superior, Andrew Cogan, with the local Nayak rulers.It is believed that this deal was made on August 22, 1639 "

As said earlier areapal is opening up only for the students of Anna university ( CEG , MIT , SAP , ACTECH ) . Any other registrations will be strictly moderated and blocked .

The registration will only be based on invitations . We are already in the process of giving out beta invites to very interested students . Please help us in maintaining a pure / safe & trusted network :-)
